Help & FAQ
Common questions. Still stuck? Contact support.
What am I buying?
Each purchase gets you a clean PDF copy of an official public record plus a structured data view โ parties, addresses, dates, amounts, and any other extractable fields โ organized in the correct columns for the record type.
How long does an order take?
Records already in our library fulfill instantly. New records go through source retrieval, OCR, and structured extraction. Small orders finish in minutes; large orders use batch processing and can take up to a few hours. The order page shows a live progress bar, and you can safely close the tab โ records appear in My Records when ready.
What if a record can't be fulfilled?
You're only charged for records we successfully deliver. Failed records are refunded automatically to your original payment method โ see the Refund Policy.
Where does the data come from?
Every record is sourced from the official county recorder or an authorized public-records portal. We don't fabricate or synthesize data โ extraction runs against the source PDF.
Can I search by name or property?
Yes. On the Browse page, filter by state, county, record type, date range, and party name (grantor or grantee).
Can I buy more than 1,000 records at once?
Each order is capped at 1,000 records. To buy more, place additional orders โ the system fulfills each one independently.
Can I use these records for credit, employment, or housing decisions?
No. These records are public documents and are not consumer reports under the FCRA. Do not use them to make credit, insurance, employment, or housing decisions about any person.
How do I export my records?
On an order's detail page, click Download CSV to get every field for every record in that order as a spreadsheet. Individual PDFs are downloadable from My Records.
How do I delete my account?
Email support@mycountyrecords.com from your account address and we'll delete it within 7 days. Order records may be retained for tax and legal compliance โ see Privacy Policy.
